Events of various kinds are one of the effective communication channels in transferring knowledge, introducing products, innovations and scientific outputs, exchanging experiences, and developing relations in all fields between universities among themselves, as well as governmental, private and civil agencies and the local community inside or outside the Kingdom.

Training Course |
A meeting of a group of people at a specific time to discuss a specific and focused topic with the aim of acquiring or developing skills by practicing a number of practical activities in this meeting.

Workshop: |
They are focus groups in which specialists meet with a number of interested people to discuss specific topics, exchange views on them, and come up with results that benefit one or more parties.

Procedures: |
- The university employee submits a request to attend a training course or workshop to the head of the department and attaches with his application all the documents related to the course or workshop, and requires completing the following data:
- Personal information: name (Arabic/English), college, scientific department, academic qualification, academic rank, specialization, job number, nationality, civil registry, phone number, e-mail.
- Information about the course or workshop: type of attendance (scientific course / workshop) / (internal or external), course title, country, city, date and duration, name and address of the organizer, website of the organizer, participation fees, justifications for attendance.
- Information about the last scientific mission: type of attendance (conference or seminar) / (internal or external), date of attendance, decision number, date of decision, topic, has a report been submitted for the last scientific mission?
- Additional information (if any): the number of scientific papers published by the applicant, the name of the scientific journal, the title of the paper, the date of publication.

After submitting the application to the Head of the Department, the application is considered for acceptance or rejection. In case of acceptance, the application is submitted to the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. |

If approved by the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, the application is submitted to the Dean of the College. |
|
A committee is formed consisting of the Dean of the College, the Vice Dean for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, and the Head of the Scientific Department. The committee recommends approval or rejection. If approved, the application is forwarded to the Cultural Relations and International Cooperation Unit. |

The Cultural Relations Unit studies the application and verifies that all conditions are met. If so, it is submitted to the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research. |

If approved by the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, the application is referred to His Excellency the President of the University. |
|
If approved by His Excellency the President of the University, the application is sent to the Planning and Budget Department to consider financial dues, secondment, and fees, and then referred to the Personnel Department. |
|
The Personnel Department records the information, approves the decision, and refers it to the Boarding Section. |
|
The Boarding Section issues the boarding order and records all related information. |
|
The application is returned to the applicant with the boarding order and all related benefits. |
