Mission Continuation (Mission Promotion)

When the scholarship student finishes the stage of study in which he is, and obtains acceptance to study another stage, he applies for approval to continue in the scholarship to continue studying for that stage; such as master's study after the language stage, doctorate after master's or specialization after the fellowship stage. This is in accordance with the provisions of Articles IV and VII of the Scholarship and Training Regulations for University Employees.
Conditions for continuing in the mission:
The decision to continue the mission shall be issued by the University Council based on:
  •  
 Obtaining the scholarship degree.
  •  
 Obtain acceptance from an educational institution recommended by the Ministry of Education.
  •  
 The specialization to be studied must be recommended by the Ministry of Education.
  •  
 The specialization to be studied must be in line with the plan of the scientific department at the University of Jeddah.
  •  
 To be among the top (300) universities in the world, except for Australia, which is among the top (200) universities. ACCORDING TO ONE OF THE WORLD RANKINGS (QS), THE TIMES, SHANGHAI (ARWU), OR U.S. NEWS,
  •  
 Endorsement of the Saudi cultural attaché in the country of scholarship.
  •  
 Recommending the Department Council to approve the continuation of the mission.
  •  
 Recommendation of the College Council for extension by approving the continuation of the mission
  •  
 Recommendation of the Standing Committee for Scholarship and Training to approve the continuation of the mission.

 

Documents to be attached to the application:

  •  
 Letter of acceptance obtained.
  •  
 A copy of the document or a letter stating that the scholarship degree has been obtained.

 

Note:

The application to continue in the scholarship to study a higher stage is submitted after the completion of the study of the current stage, provided that the period between the date of obtaining the degree currently studied by the scholarship student and the date of the beginning of the study of the higher stage does not exceed three months.
