Based on the provisions of Article 35 of the Scholarship and Training Regulations for University Staff and the decisions of the University's Standing Committee for Scholarships and Training, it is required that administrative and technical staff who are sent for training meet the following conditions:
- Must be a Saudi national.
- Must have served at the university for at least two years from the date of appointment, except for doctors who may be sent after completing one year from their appointment.
- There must be a direct relationship between the specialty they will be trained in and the nature of their work.
- Their performance evaluation for the last two years should not be less than 'Very Good'.
- Must have acceptance from a scientifically recognized institution.
- Must be proficient in the language in which the training program is offered.
- The program should aim to provide the trainee with new skills required for current or future job needs.
- Female trainees must be accompanied by a guardian for the entire duration of their scholarship abroad.
Scholarships are granted according to the organized plan for sending administrative and technical staff.
