If the candidate gets the required acceptance and all conditions are completed, the following steps are followed:

An electronic scholarship application is submitted through the Kafaa system, with all required data filled in and all documents attached as indicated in the scholarship application.

The scholarship application is sent to the head of the academic department.

The head of the academic department presents the scholarship application to the department council, and after approval, the council’s decision is attached to the scholarship application.

The department head sends the scholarship application to the Dean/Deputy of the College for Research and Innovation (according to the regulations followed in the college).

The Dean/Deputy of the College for Research and Innovation presents the scholarship application to the college council, and after the council approves the scholarship and the university president approves the minutes, a copy is attached to the scholarship application.

The application is then sent to the Scholarships Department.

The responsible employee in the Scholarships Department reviews and checks the application to ensure that all scholarship requirements are met and that all necessary data and documents are provided.

The responsible employee sends the application to the Director of the Scholarships Department, who is the secretary of the permanent scholarship and training committee, for presentation to the committee.

After being presented to the committee, the application is sent toThe Dean of Graduate Studies, including the committee's recommendation for the scholarship. The Dean of Graduate Studies sends the request to the Vice President for Graduate Studies, including the committee's recommendation for the scholarship. The Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research forwards the request to the University President for approval of the committee's recommendation and the request on behalf of the University Council. If the University President approves the request on behalf of the Council, the request is sent to the Scholarship Department. The original forms and commitments attached to the request are handed over to the Scholarship Department. The executive decision for the scholarship is issued a month before the start of study if it’s an overseas scholarship. If the scholarship is abroad, the Scholarship Department officer enters the scholarship decision data into the Safeer system, and the scholar’s arrival is recorded upon reaching the scholarship location to register their arrival date and complete the file opening procedures at the cultural attaché’s office. After the scholarship decision is issued, the candidate logs into the E'timad platform and submits a request for a boarding order for themselves and their accompanying family members.
