Attending scientific conferences and seminars

Attending Conferences, Scientific Seminars, and Short Courses

The university encourages scholarship students to actively participate in international scientific conferences and publish research in prestigious journals. This involvement is crucial for refining research capabilities and expanding knowledge through engagement with senior scientists and researchers.

Regulatory Framework (Article XVII):
Scholarship students are entitled to a one-time round-trip ticket per academic stage to attend conferences or courses under the following controls:
 
 The event must have a direct relationship with the specialization or research topic.
 
 Approval from the Scholarship Committee based on supervisor recommendation and Attaché endorsement.

Conditions for Attending Conferences

 
 Formal recommendation from the academic supervisor.
 
 Endorsement from the Saudi Cultural Attaché in the country of scholarship.
 
 Department and College Council recommendations (via delegated tripartite committees).
 
 Final recommendation from the Standing Committee for Scholarship and Training.

Documents to be Attached

 
 Official letter approved by the academic supervisor.
 
 Full documentation of the conference (Title, date, duration, organizer, and host country).
Note: Applications must be submitted at least two months prior to the event date to allow sufficient time for administrative processing.
