Procedures for applications submitted by the scholarship student during the scholarship period

The applications submitted by the scholarship student during the scholarship period electronically through the university's electronic scholarship system are limited to the following applications: "extension of a mission, continuation of the scholarship to study the language, promotion of a scholarship, change of university or country, change of specialization, scientific trips, attendance of scientific conferences, scientific seminars and short courses, request, year, termination of a scholarship, graduation."

All these applications are submitted through the "Kafa'a" system, "Services Platform", "Scholarship Applications", and then the required form is selected. It takes the same path and procedural steps electronically, according to the following:

The scholarship student enters the "Kafa'a" system "Services Platform" "Scholarship Applications" and fills out the required form and attaches the required documents and then sends it to the Missions Department.
  •  
The employee concerned with the Department of Missions shall receive, review, audit and ensure that the application meets the required conditions and documents, and then send it to the Director of the Missions Department.
  •  
The Director of the Scholarships Department receives the application by reviewing the application and sending it to the head of the department in the concerned college.
  •  
The head of the department receives the application and presents it to the department council.
  •  
After studying the application and approving it by the Department Council, it is sent to the Dean/Vice Dean for Research and Innovation to be presented to the College Council for study.

After studying the application and approving it by the College Council and approving it by the President of the University, it is sent to the Scholarships Department.
  •  
The employee concerned with the Department of Scholarships Department receives, reviews and audits the application, and ensures that the approval of the department and college councils and the approval of His Excellency the President of the University is met, and attaches the minutes of the department and college councils, and then it is sent to the Secretary of the Standing Committee for Scholarship and Training, to be presented to the Standing Committee for Scholarship and Training.

After studying and approving the application by the Standing Committee for Scholarship and Training, it is sent to the Director of the Scholarships Department, Secretary of the Committee, to prepare the recommendation of the Standing Committee for Scholarship and Training, and then send it to the Dean of Graduate Studies to review the committee's recommendation and then send the request to the Vice President for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research to approve the recommendation of the Standing Committee for Scholarship and Training, and send the request to the President of the University.
  •  
The President of the University receives and approves the application on behalf of the University Council.
  •  
After the approval of His Excellency the President of the University on the scholarship, the application is sent electronically to the employee concerned with the management of scholarships to complete the procedures for issuing the executive decision and send a copy of it to the competent authorities.
  •  
The scholarship student is notified electronically of the approval of his application.
  •  
The Saudi Cultural Attaché in the country of scholarship is notified of the decision electronically through the "Safeer" system, where the employee concerned with managing the missions enters the electronic application in the "Safeer" system, attaches a copy of the decision and sends the request to the Attaché.

 

Important Note:

  •  
The scholarship student must submit the application he desires within a sufficient period of not less than four months before the end date of his mission, so that the disbursement on it is not stopped, because the approval of the competent councils and committees on the application takes a long time.

The scholarship abroad must submit an application through the Safir system, which is similar to the application that was submitted in the kafa'a system. Because the list of scholarships and training for university employees stipulated that the cultural attaché endorse the scholarship application, and if he does not find a similar request in efficiency, the following general request is submitted: General request
