Forms and Undertakings

Documents Required from All Scholarship Candidates:

● Degree admission letter.
● English language admission letter (if admission is conditional upon meeting the language requirement).
● Copy of the language proficiency test result (for applicants whose admission is conditional upon meeting the language requirement).
● Copy of the National ID card + Family Register for married applicants.
● Copy of the Scholarship Qualification Course certificate.
● Copies of academic qualifications.
● Personal photograph (males only).
● Undertaking to comply with the regulations for overseas scholarships (the original must be submitted to the Scholarships Administration).
● Undertaking to comply with the regulations for domestic scholarships (the original must be submitted to the Scholarships Administration).
● Custody Handover Form (the original must be submitted to the Scholarships Administration).
● Address Form (the original must be submitted to the Scholarships Administration).
● Shariah Custody Deed (for applicants accompanied by their mother).
● Copy of the entry visa to the scholarship destination country.

Additional Documents Required from Female Scholarship Candidates:

● Guardian’s consent undertaking for the scholarship (the original must be submitted to the Scholarships Administration).
● Mahram undertaking to accompany the female scholarship student (the original must be submitted to the Scholarships Administration).
● Copy of the divorce deed (if divorced).
● Copy of the Shariah custody deed if the legal guardian is someone other than the father or husband.
● Copy of the National ID card if the legal guardian is someone other than the father or husband.
● Copy of the National ID card of the accompanying person if the accompanying person is not the husband.
● Court order confirming the children’s father’s consent for them to accompany their mother, if she is divorced.

Additional Documents Required for Candidates Recruited through the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarship Program for Overseas Study:

● Copy of the scholarship decision issued under the Ministry’s sponsorship.
● Letter from the Saudi Cultural Mission confirming the start and end dates of the scholarship.

Documents Required for Issuing the Executive Scholarship Decision:

● Undertaking to comply with the regulations (original).
● Custody Handover Form (original).
● Address Form (original). The final section must be completed after arriving at the place of study and sent by email to scholarships@uj.edu.sa.
● Guardian’s and Mahram’s consent (original).
● Mahram undertaking to accompany the female scholarship student throughout the entire scholarship period (original).
● Copy of the visas (for overseas scholarships).
● Admission letter confirming the new study start date, if the original study start date has passed.
