Financial rights and benefits of the scholarship internally

 

 

The statement of the financial rights and benefits to which the scholarship student is entitled to the interior in Articles: (21, 22, 23, 24, 25) of the Scholarship and Training Regulations for University Employees, which are as follows:

Monthly salary and transportation allowance:

The scholarship student shall be treated internally in terms of salary as an employee on the job, and his basic monthly salary shall be paid to him in full with the transportation allowance, and the retirement allowance shall be deducted from it, and he shall be entitled to annual bonuses. Article Twenty-One of the Regulations of Scholarship and Training for University Employees stipulates: "The scholarship student enrolled in graduate programs at home shall receive his full salary and the transfer allowance due to him monthly, including the full-time allowance for doctors, pharmacists, specialists, technicians, teaching assistants and lecturers in the faculties of medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, applied medical sciences and university hospitals."

Deportation allowance:

It is a month's salary paid to the scholarship internally to an educational institution in another city far away from the distance to which the assignment allowance is paid, and it is paid once at the beginning of the scholarship. Where Article Twenty-two of the Regulations of Scholarship and Training for University Employees stipulates: "The scholarship to an educational institution in another city shall be paid a deportation allowance equivalent to a month's salary if the distance between the two cities is similar to the distance prescribed for the disbursement of the mandate" and it is disbursed at the beginning of the study and after the issuance of the executive decision for the scholarship, where the Department of Scholarships raises the names of those entitled to this allowance and does not require the scholarship to take any action to be taken.

Tickets:

Travel tickets are paid to the scholarship student and his family members who accompany him once a year if his scholarship is to a city where there is an air airport, in accordance with the provisions of Article Twenty-Three of the Regulations of Scholarship and Training for University Employees, amended by the Higher Education Council Resolution No. 14/61/1431 dated 26/10/1431 AH, where the cases in which tickets are issued to the scholarship are specified, so "the scholarship student, his wife, his minor children and unmarried daughters, and his mother, who is legally supported by air tickets, shall be paid as follows:

  •  

One-way economy class tickets from his workplace to his place of study.

  •  

Economy class tickets at the end of each academic year back and forth from his place of study to his workplace.

  •  

Economy class ticket round trip when making the scientific trip.

  •  

If it is not possible to travel by air transport between his place of work to his place of study when he undertakes the scientific trip, he shall be compensated for compensation equivalent to the value of travel by public transport.

Books and reference allowance:

It is a monthly salary paid to the scholarship annually during the original period of the mission without extensions, in accordance with the provisions of Article Twenty-Four of the Scholarship and Training Regulations for University Employees, which states: "The scholarship is paid annually a book and reference allowance equivalent to one month's salary, provided that its disbursement is limited to the basic period of the scholarship without extension" and is disbursed at the end of each fiscal year, as the Missions Department raises the names of those entitled to this allowance and does not require the scholarship to take any action.

Allowance for printing and binding the scientific thesis:

It is a lump sum disbursed to the scholarship for printing and binding his scientific thesis at the rate of (3000) three thousand riyals for the master's degree, and (4000) four thousand riyals for the doctorate, in accordance with the provisions of Article Twenty-Five of the Scholarship and Training Regulations for university employees, which states: "The scholarship is paid for one time instead of printing and binding the thesis for the master's degree an amount of (3000) three thousand riyals, and for the doctoral degree an amount of (4000) four thousand riyals." It is disbursed after the issuance of the graduation decision and the scholarship student obtains the document, as the Scholarships Department uploads the names of those entitled to this allowance and requires the scholarship student to send a copy of the document to the administration's e-mail (scholarships@uj.edu.sa).
