Participation Forms in Conferences and Exhibitions

Scientific events serve as effective communication channels for transferring knowledge, showcasing innovations, and developing relations between universities and the local or international community. These include:

Conference:

A scientific meeting discussing specific topics through refereed research papers. It includes panel discussions, workshops, and may feature an accompanying exhibition for sponsors. If accompanied by trade exhibitions, it is often termed a "Forum."

Seminar:

A specialized meeting focusing on a particular field or topic, often part of a broader event like a national campaign or scientific week.

Procedures & Workflow

 Application Requirements: Includes personal data (College, Dept, Rank), event info (Title, Location, Date, Fees), and details of the last scientific mission (Report status, previous decision numbers).
  •  
 Internal Review: The application is reviewed by the Head of Department, then by a specialized committee (Dean, Vice Dean, and HOD) before reaching the Cultural Relations Unit.
  •  
 Approvals Hierarchy: Vice President for Graduate Studies → University President → Ministry of Education (for specific cases).
  •  
 Administrative Finalization: Following Ministry/University approval, the Planning and Budget Dept assess entitlements, and the Personnel/Boarding Depts issue official decisions and boarding orders.
