Scholarship Unit

Scholarship objectives:

Building and qualifying academic and administrative cadres, scientifically and technically, is one of the most important and prominent objectives of the scholarship program, to which our wise government and leadership give the utmost attention. This is to ensure that the wheel of scientific progress and technological development, the advancement of education, and the quality of its outcomes continue to move, so that developmental leadership, societal civilization, and international leadership can be achieved for the Land of the Two Holy Mosques, may God protect it and perpetuate its glory and honor, in a way that achieves the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

Article (1) of the Regulations for Sending Students to University and Training stipulates: "Sending students to university and training aims to qualify university students scientifically to obtain a scientific degree, or to develop their academic, administrative and technical skills through training as required by the university's interest."

Article (177) of the Executive Regulations for Human Resources in the Civil Service also stipulates: "Opportunities for sending employees abroad to study shall be provided to raise the efficiency of employees and develop their knowledge, skills and experiences in a manner consistent with the needs of the government agency and its employees."
