Scholarship Objectives

Building and qualifying academic and administrative staff scientifically and professionally is among the most important and prominent objectives of scholarship programs, to which our prudent government and wise leadership devote great attention. This is to ensure the continued advancement of scientific progress, technological development, the elevation of education, and the quality of its outcomes—thereby achieving developmental leadership, societal advancement, and international prominence for the Land of the Two Holy Mosques, may Allah protect it and perpetuate its honor and glory—in alignment with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Article (1) of the Scholarship and Training Regulations for University Staff stipulates:
"Scholarship and training aim to academically qualify university staff to obtain an academic degree or to develop their academic, administrative, and technical skills through training, as required by the interest of the university."

Article (177) of the Executive Regulations for Human Resources in the Civil Service also states:
"Scholarship opportunities for study outside the Kingdom shall be made available to enhance employees’ competencies and develop their knowledge, skills, and experience in accordance with the needs of the government entity and its employees."
